Departmental Activity

The Department of Arabic of Harishchandrapur college, since 2009, had been guiding the students in understanding and appreciating the language as well as literature and culture. It provides undergraduate courses for the enhancement of oral speaking grammar and comprehension skills about the Arabic languages. The courses include modern and classical Arabic literature languages and translation, thus providing a holistic view of the language. Thus, the importance of Arabic in terms of history and culture is proved to be a bridge between civilizations. Using creative teaching methods the department will prepare professional graduates for education, translation and diplomatic jobs.
